Aubrey Plaza always stays camera ready.
On October 20, the HBO Max actress graced the The White Lotus season 2 premiere event, where she wore a bold cutout dress by Stella McCartney that revealed a glimpse of her toned abs. Another detail that wowed folks was the outfit's high slit that exposed part of her leg, propped up by her strappy scarlet stiletto heels.
The HBO Max actress opted for sleek shoulder-length hair that ended in a slight bounce and stopped short at the dress' asymmetrical neckline. The Parks and Recreation alum completed the look with chunky gold hoops and minimalist rings. As for her makeup, she went with a matte cherry red lip, and her hazel eyes popped thanks to white eyeshadow placed on her inner corners.
After the Hollywood TV event, Aubrey posted a series of exclusive photos from the event on Instagram — including adorable snapshots with her co-stars Jennifer Coolidge and Haley Lu Richardson — and wrote, "🌹White Lotus 🌹."
White Lotus fans couldn't get enough of her fiery pics and left their thoughts on the bold look in the comments section. "RED IS YOUR COLOR," one person wrote. "... that dress was made for you! 🔥," another added. "🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 the best!!!" a different follower said.
It's not the first time Aubrey's turned heads. For The White Lotus season 2, she actually filmed a scene in which her character, Harper Spiller, walked around southern Sicily and eventually noticed dozens of men staring at her.
"It's like an homage to 'L’Avventura,' which is an Italian movie starring Monica Vitti," she told Today. "We actually were shooting the exact location of that movie and did the same shot that happens in that movie. So, it was very iconic, and it felt cool for me to get to do that because I love that movie."
Aside from the show's creator, Mike White, writing Harper with Aubrey mind, the Ingrid Goes West actress went on to explain that she instantly had a connection with her role. "There’s a lot of certain similarities with me and the character," she spilled to the outlet. "Not completely, but I definitely relate to her."
Aubrey added: "I mean, she’s married, she has no kids, she’s a professional working woman — all those things make sense to me."
