Aubrey Plaza is quite familiar with turning heads on TV. But folks couldn't believe their eyes when The White Lotus actress changed up her classic style with a dramatic new look.
The Parks and Recreation alum made a memorable appearance at the 13th annual Academy of Motion Arts and Sciences Governor Awards, where she wore a silk black backless dress that featured a plunging halter neckline and a high slit. In a subtle nod to all things retro, Aubrey paired the daring outfit with black sandal heels and diamond jewelry. As for her makeup, she kept it classic with black eyeliner and a red lip.
While Aubrey's ensemble would cause anyone to stop in their tracks, that wasn't what made people's jaws drop. After years of being known for her dark brunette hair, she stunned everyone that night by debuting a new blonde hairdo.
When Aubrey later shared highlights from the night on Instagram, White Lotus fans were shocked by the drastic change. "BLONDE SINCE WHEN ?!!" one person asked in the comments. "Hey girl heyyyyy! Loving the new ‘do," another replied. "I mean … 🔥🔥🔥," a different fan added.
What's more, her celebrity friends let the Ingrid Goes West star know how much they loved seeing her with a different hair color.
