For a limited time, White Claw is releasing a crisp unflavored version of its beloved hard seltzer. The brand announced its plans for the "pure" launch March 28 and confirmed its in-store arrival for shortly after. So, no patience necessary-they're hitting shelves April 1.

The 100 calorie cocktail, which contains 5 percent ALC/VOL and 0 grams of sugar, is the perfect vodka soda alternative as is. However, White Claw is also eager for customers to try out their own add-ins, as well. Time to play mixologist! After posting the news to Instagram Stories Thursday, they asked fans to weigh in on how they'll "#DrinkPure." "Fresh mint. Boom," one follower wrote. "With pickle juice," another added. Frankly, I'm hoping the latter is a joke.

"While many other hard seltzer brands continue to release more complicated flavors, we know consumers love the clean, refreshing taste of White Claw and identified an opportunity to launch a hard seltzer in its simplest form with White Claw Pure Hard Seltzer," senior vice president of marketing, Sanjiv Gajiwala said in a press release. "We are thrilled with the unprecedented consumer support for the brand and are proud to release an innovation that highlights the superior taste and quality with the limited-edition release of White Claw Pure Hard Seltzer."

The 12-ounce Pure spiked seltzer cans will join the brand's current flavors: Black Cherry, Ruby Grapefruit, Natural Lime, and Raspberry. And while I have no plans to abandon the classics, I'm already obsessed with their new refresher.
