Is Whistler Skiing Well Again? A YouTuber Finds Out

This week, the powder faucets turned back on at Whistler Blackcomb, British Columbia.

Taking advantage of the fresh snow, YouTuber and snowboarder Andreas Schubert headed topside, searching for pow turns and conclusive answers regarding Whistler Blackcomb's current status.

Schubert didn't specify what day of the week he hit the slopes at Whistler Blackcomb, but his note—"we've been dry recently"—rings true for much of the season the Canadian resort has had thus far.

However, as evidenced by his video, Whistler Blackcomb is clearly getting back on its feet. Now, the resort has about half of its terrain open—a solid offering, all things considered.

Looking ahead, the weather doesn't call for much snow at Whistler Blackcomb in the coming week. Still, given that it is early in the season, there's plenty of time for a proper comeback at the Canadian resort. Keep those fingers crossed! Even if it probably isn't going to be me at this rate, some people should be able to ski pow this season.
