Whisker Wednesday: Meet Rugby, a one-year-old cat up for adoption
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A young playful cat is looking for a new home this Whisker Wednesday.
Cat Haven Development Director Amber Harrell said Rugby is a one-year-old domestic short-haired mix with black and white fur who loves to play and snack on treats. Her adoption fee is $125.
Cat Haven has plenty of options for adoptable cats if you’re looking for a different type of cat like a kitten or senior cat.
The cat shelter also has multiple upcoming events that will allow you to meet their adoptable cats or mingle with other cat lovers. They’re hosting a Meow Mixer at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16 at The Station, located at 4608 Bennington Ave. The next event is a free Caring for Kittens class on Thursday, May 30 at Cat Haven. Attendees will learn how to care for kittens for the first 10 weeks of their lives.
Cat Haven is located at 11130 N. Harrells Ferry Road.
