This Whirlwind Honeymoon—From the Maldives to Lake Como—Is All the Summer Travel Inspiration You Need
Danielle Snyder, cofounder and designer of the fashion and accessories brand Dannijo, married her husband Brandon in Harbour Island in the Bahamas this past spring. To plan their elegantly laid-back wedding weekend in paradise, the couple collaborated with event planner Michelle Rago of Michelle Rago Destinations to create a roster of fun festivities that included events at the three main properties—Coral Sands, the Ocean View Club, and the Other Side, with the goal of juxtaposing the aesthetics of two favorite movies. “I wanted the barefoot, wild elements of The Blue Lagoon mixed with Victorian lace and pearls reminiscent of Legends of the Fall,” Danielle explains. But the fun didn’t stop when they’d said goodbye to their last guest. At that point, the newlyweds took off on a globe-trotting honeymoon.
Their post-wedding adventure took them from the Maldives, where they stayed at the Kudadoo, a private island that’s all about escapism, to Tel Aviv, where they checked into The Jaffa, Jerusalem, and even Lake Como. “We chose Maldives because we’ve always wanted to go to the end of the world and experience the turquoise water together...read, chill, relax and scuba,” Danielle says. “It was the perfect place to enjoy one another after an action packed wedding weekend in Harbour island. Neither of us had been to Israel since we were little and it was on our bucket list of places to travel to together. Lake Como seemed like a magical way to end the honeymoon, and Italy is never a bad idea.”
Their itinerary was ambitious, but Danielle’s packing skills were up to the challenge. At each location, she deftly mixed her whimsical Dannijo slip dresses and accessories for looks that seamlessly fit each locale and were an eclectic, more is more melange that felt like the total embodiment of all things summer. And isn't that exactly what you want on a romantic sojourn? Click through above to see where she went and what she wore.

Teams have made their big splashes in free agency and made their draft picks, it's time for you to do the same. It's fantasy football mock draft time. Some call this time of year best ball season, others know it's an opportunity to get a leg up on your competition for when you have to draft in August. The staff at Yahoo Fantasy did their first mock draft of the 2024 season to help you with the latter. Matt Harmon and Andy Behrens are here to break it all down by each round and crush some staff members in the process.
With free agency and the draft behind us, what 32 teams look like today will likely be what they look like Week 1 and beyond for the 2024 season. Matt Harmon and Scott Pianowski reveal the post-draft fantasy power rankings. The duo break down the rankings in six tiers: Elite offensive ecosystems, teams on the cusp of being complete mixed bag ecosystems, offensive ecosystems with something to prove, offenses that could go either way, and offenses that are best to stay away from in fantasy.
It’s key to note that we’re not saying the “best team” or “best roster.” Instead, we’re talking about the best confluence of factors that can outline a path for survival and then success.
