The Fastest Dogs USA Competition took place on September 16 in Kannapolis, North Carolina at the Atrium Health Ballpark. This event brought together some of the country's fastest dogs for a 100-yard dash. And well, the results are just mind blowing.
EPSN posted on their TikTok account (@espn) a clip from the race's runner up. This dog's speed will seriously blow you away. It clearly did for the rest of the internet as it reached over 17.4 million views in one day. Check out this quick as-lighting Whippet named Winston!

HOLY! We don't...we don't have words for this performance. The caption was right on point. Winston seriously snapped. He had his eyes on the price and left it all out on the field. According to an American Kennel Club article, Winston's fastest speed was 34.44 mph. WOW! And just for reference, the winning dog's speed was 34.98. How on earth?!
"Bruh, how is a Cheetah faster than this 💀," asked @marcelllei. We're already blown away by this run that it's hard to imagine a cheetah running faster.
