Where is The Watcher filmed?

Although the famed home at 657 Boulevard is located in Westfield, New Jersey, The Watcher was filmed in a house located in Rye, New York.

According to Zillow, the house used for filming is actually more than three times the size of the original Westfield home, measuring in at 10,166-square-feet with six-bedrooms and seven-baths. That being said, Netflix only used the exterior of the Rye location for certain shots, and created interior sets of their own for easier filming.

While the Broadduses bought the original "Watcher" house for $1.3 million, the New York home at 1 Warriston Lane was built in 2016 and sold in August 2020 for $1.93 million. But the latter property quickly accumulated a value of $6.28 million as of today. It sits on 1.25 acres of land and has a game room with full bar, library, indoor basketball court, swimming pool, movie room and chef's kitchen, among other things.

Both the New York home and original "Watcher" home in Westfield are currently occupied by residents.

For scenes outside of the home, the crew filmed a bit in Westfield but majority of shooting was done in New York and Connecticut. According to CT Insider, the cast also took their cameras to the Coveleigh Club, the country club where Naomi Watts' and Jennifer Coolidge's characters meet for lunch. Other filming locations included the Tuckahoe Police Station, a bridal shop in Yonkers and the DeCicco & Sons grocery store in Larchmont.
