When will the Eras Tour movie be on streaming?

Good news! The Eras Tour movie was available to rent on-demand starting on Taylor’s birthday, December 13, 2023. She announced the move on social media juuust after Thanksgiving, and for that, Swifties were eternally grateful.

“Hi! Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!” she wrote before revealing that several songs that were cut from the theatrical release would be featured in the on-demand version of the film.

According to Taylor’s deal with AMC, the movie played exclusively in theaters for at least 13 weeks, although it was originally set to run for four weekends. AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron told Deadline in November 2023 that Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has brought in so much success that the movie giant’s phones are “ringing off the hook” with proposals for more concert films. As for Eras screenings, its original four-week run was also extended thanks to dedicated Swifties who have hit up movie theaters to catch the flick. “There will be a week 5, a week 6, a week 7, a week 8,” he told the publication at the time.
