Queen Elizabeth II will be buried next to her husband of more than 70 years, Prince Philip, 11 days after her death.

The monarch—who passed away last Thursday at age 96 while at her Scotland residence, Balmoral Castle—will be laid to rest in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, where Philip was buried following his death in 2021.

The burial complex is also the resting place of the queen's father, King George VI, mother, Queen Elizabeth, and sister, Princess Margaret.

Today, the royal family came together for the procession of the queen's coffin, which was moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall in London. There, it will lie in state for four days, and mourners will be able to visit it to pay their respects. The royals also attended a reception at the Palace of Westminster for the queen.
