Politically Charged T-Shirts Are What's Hot This Season

Given the heated climate in the United States right now, it makes sense that more people are looking to wear their political stances on their sleeves … or across their chests … or backs! Politically themed clothing, resistance wear, or whatever you want to call it is trending now. People are using fashion not only to get their beliefs across, but to also help raise money to benefit organizations that help those who may be adversely affected by the new administration.

The trend is already taking over the runway at New York Fashion Week. Christian Siriano collaborated with Leggo your Ego this season to create T-shirts reading “People are people,” a message to us all that regardless of our differences, we are all human beings deserving of respect. Prabal Gurung closed his Fall 2017 show with models wearing T-shirts with political slogans like, “The future is female,” “Nevertheless, she persisted,” and more.
