On Veterans Day, we honor members of our Armed Forces for their bravery, sacrifice, patriotism, and willingness to serve in both wartime and peacetime. Formerly a commemoration of Armistice Day first proclaimed by President Wilson in 1919, November 11 is now a holiday we celebrate with gratitude—and, delicious perks to say thanks.

Here’s a roundup of chain restaurants that are celebrating veterans with free meals, discounts on food, and even bonus vouchers for the next time you visit. Most of these spots will ask for valid identification, so please bring ID along when you pick up your freebies!
