Where to dine in Rockland on Thanksgiving; make your reservations now
It's hard to believe but Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. And for those planning on dining out, that means making your holiday reservations sooner rather than later. The following Rockland restaurants feature everything from prixe fixed meals to a la carte, featuring the ever-popular classics of turkey, butternut squash and pumpkin pie.
AquaTerra Grille, Pearl River
It's a buffet feast at AquaTerra where, for $60 per persion ($25 for children), you'll be able to enjoy cream of turkey soup, seasonal salads, bourbon sweet potatos, penne a la vodka, salmon, traditional turkey and more. Cornetta's, Piermont

Dolce Vita, Nyack

Hudson House, Nyack
The main courses at this $85, three-course meal include roast turkey, braised short ribs, salmon and quinoa stuffed squash, but it's Matt Hudson's famous desserts that you should definitely save room for. They include sticky toffee pudding cake, pumpkin crème brulée, Aunt Bea's orange glaze cake, gluten-free chocolate cake and warm apple crisp. The Farm, Nyack
Starters like roasted beet salad and butternut squash soup are on the menu at this Hotel Nyack spot where you'll also find organic fried burrata, roasted Hemlock Hill turkey, Chilean sea bass, New York strip steak, vegan moussaka and short rib tagliatelle. Whatever you do, leave room for the flourless chocolate cake, pumpkin pie and/or homemamde apple crumble pie. The '76 House, Tappan

Restaurant X & Bully Boy Bar, Congers
Expect a feast featuring, among other things, Hudson Valley duckling breast, Faroe Island salmon, braised short ribs, medallions of venison, and traditional turkey with apple and chestnut stuffing, for $95 per person.
