Where to Eat, Drink, and Play in Nantucket, According to Local Jewelry Designer Katherine Jetter

Katherine Jetter, knows a thing or two about living the good life. The jeweler, who lives part of the year in Nantucket, gets to enjoy everything from the island’s perfectly-formed hydrangea bushes, cedar shingle architecture, serene beaches, and best restaurants. She also operates its hippest jewelry boutique, The Vault, where she sells not only her own designs—a mix of ultra-cool pieces like diamond or pearl hoops and huggies set in electric-blue or hot pink rhodium, and elegant necklaces set with opals from her native Australia—but also the wares of other in-demand designers including Fernando Jorge, Jenna Blake, Sorellina, Siliva Furmanovich, Cadar, and more.

We asked Jetter to give us her recommendations on the tony New England island: where to eat, where to relax on the beach, and where to throw back a cocktail or a beer during the summer months. She did that and more, weighing in with jewelry suggestions for each must-see destination. (Each piece is available at The Vault.) If you’re planning on making any memorable moments on the island you should consider punctuating them with a memento from Jetter’s well-curated boutique in the heart of town at 33 Centre Street.
