Wheel of Fortune fans are not happy with the show after an episode saw a contestant lose her prize thanks to a weird technicality.

In case you missed it, Charlene Rubush had $16,500 by the time she got to the bonus round in Tuesday's episode. The answer to Charlene's puzzle was "choosing the right word," which she guessed correctly after initially saying "choosing the right card." And despite getting the answer right on her second guess (which is totally standard!), host Pat Sajak didn't give her the prize (an Audi) because of a weird timing technicality.

“You know, this one’s tough because you said all the right words, including the word ‘word’ but, as you know, it’s gotta be more or less continuous,” he said. “We’ll allow for a little pause but not four or five seconds. I’m sorry. You did a good job in getting it, but we can’t give you the prize, and it was the Audi.”

Obviously, fans were furious on Charlene's behalf, taking it to Twitter to call out Wheel of Fortune and ask Audi to give her a car.

As one fan put it, “@WheelofFortune well we had a good run. I won’t watch the show anymore. That lady won the AUDI, she answered the phrase within the timeframe allowed. You have hidden rules, fake show. Ill never watch again (unless she gets the AUDI ANNND the rule changes).”

Thus far Wheel of Fortune hasn't addressed the drama, but Audi came through and gave Charlene a car, so this story has a happy ending:
