Vanna White used a special occasion to celebrate the life of a late loved one.

In April 2022, the Wheel of Fortune star shared with fans that her father Herbert White Jr. died at the age of 96. At the time, Vanna posted a heartfelt tribute reflecting on how much he meant to her. Now, one year later, she honored her late dad by including him in a new post on Instagram. Uploading a personal photo of the duo sitting and posing for the camera, the TV personality revealed that she still misses his presence in her life on a daily basis.

"Happy Father’s Day to all the dads in the world!" she wrote on June 18. "And to my sweet dad … I miss you every day. ❤️."

Given how Vanna doesn't often post about her family online, fans' hearts broke seeing her remember her dad on the holiday. What's more, they immediately rallied around her and showed their support in the comments.

"Awwww … he was a sweet man. Prayers for you. Know you miss him so much. 🙏🏻❤️," one person wrote on Instagram. "You will always have memories of the good times together and he would be very proud of you ❤️," a different follower replied. "I know how you feel Vanna. I miss mine every day too 😔," another expressed.

This isn't the only time Vanna has opened up about the duo's close relationship. In a June 2021 episode of Wheel of Fortune, she shared on the air how special the bond between her and Herbert was only a year before his death.

As fans may know, Vanna was raised by Herbert after her mother, Joan, and her biological father, Miguel Angel Rosich, split up, according to Daily Mail. Before she landed her role on the game show, Vanna took Herbert's last name, per to Grand Strand magazine.

"He's great. He's 95 years old," she told host Pat Sajak at the time in a video posted on Facebook. "I call him every morning to say 'Good morning' and that I love him... He's special."
