One Wheel of Fortune contestant is catching quite a bit of flack for making an interesting guess during her time on the show.

The Atlanta woman by the name of Jessica Washington was among those spinning the wheel earlier this week, when she gave an outlandish guess to a nearly-finished puzzle.

While looking at the puzzle, which read, "Dining in the dining _ar," Jessica hesitantly told host Pat Sajak that she was ready to solve it.

That's when she said, "Dining in the dining jar," sending the crowd into a disappointed roar, as the correct response was supposed to read, "Dining in the dining car."

As a result of the puzzle-solving whoopsie, fans online couldn't help but criticize the contestant for flubbing up on what seemed to be a simple enough puzzle.

"'Dining in the dining jar' sent my jaw to the floor… I was rooting for you Jessica! @WheelofFortune," one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter) after the episode.

"'Dining in the Dining Jar?' How? Please? #WheelOfFortune," someone else wondered.

"Car. Car. C.A.R.," one user harshly corrected, while another echoed, "Dude, car!"

"New season of Wheel of Fortune but still some unfathomable responses. When have you ever heard the term' dining in the dining jar' before tonight?" another person bluntly stated, while calling the slip-up, "An epic of epic fails."

"Hand caught in the Dining Jar #WheelofFortune," someone else quipped while poking fun at the response.

Even actor George Takei chimed in on the situation, writing, "Bless her heart," in response to Jessica's failed guess.

There were, however, a few users who came to Jessica's defense, including one person who seemed to explain that train travel isn't widely popular in the U.S., tweeting, "once again, our nations lack of rail travel has failed us."

"To be fair, I'm pretty sure the last time anyone dined in the dining car was 1954," someone else wrote.

Another person even admitted they were "about to say" the same response as Jessica, so it couldn't have been all that far out!
