Find out how Dirk Kappel practiced to compete on 'WoF' at home.

Wheel of Fortune contestants clearly don't mess around when it comes to getting their chance to spin the wheel.

One particularly hardcore contestant by the name of Dirk Kappel wanted to bring everything he's got to the WoF stage, so he took it upon himself to find a creative way to squeeze in some practice spins at home.

In a snippet from the Tuesday, April 18 episode of the long-running game show shared to the series' Instagram page, host Pat Sajak chatted with Dirk about his unique preparation method for competing on the show, asking him, "You built a Wheel of Fortune in your garage?"

Confirming the statement, Dirk admitted, "I probably had too much time on my hands, and I built a wheel close to this size and practiced and played games in the garage."

The show then played some footage of Dirk using the homemade wheel in his garage, where he pretended to be a contestant solving a puzzle. He gave the wheel a spin as he chanted, "Big Money!"

"You owe us $1200, by the way," Sajak, 76, quipped in response to the home video.

The WoF Instagram page wittily captioned the post on Tuesday, "This wheel is the real deal (but not the real wheel, obvi)."

One fan in the comments kept the cheeky remarks going, writing, "Now that’s WHEEL-y cool!" under the post.

"Cool !! 🙌," someone else applauded in the comments, while another WoF viewer gave Dirk's homemade wheel the stamp of approval by leaving a series of thumbs-up emojis under the post.
