What's Up With Gwen Stefani's Curly Brown Hair?

If there’s one thing we can confidently say about Gwen Stefani, it’s that her beauty look pretty much starts and ends with bleached blond hair and her signature red lipstick. When she deviates from her norm, it’s completely astonishing — which is why the singer’s latest style change-up has us in awe.

In a recent Snapchat, Stefani ditched her usual look for something entirely out of character — a makeup-free face with dark brown, curly hair. It’s hard to imagine, right? Well, take a look at Gwen’s new hairdo for yourself, below:

While we’re going to assume this is just a wig for her This Is What the Truth Feels Like tour, it’s still pretty shocking to see. However, Stefani isn’t the only star to rock spiral curls this summer. Jenna Dewan Tatum, Julianne Hough, and others have been bringing the ‘80s back and getting perms.
