The Biggest Loser was a mega-hit show for 17 seasons from its debut in 2004 up until it ended in 2016. The NBC reality show transformed contestants' bodies — and their lives — and viewers couldn't get enough.

After a few years off the air, USA brought back the show with more of a focus on overall wellness and not just the numbers on the scale. Participants on the reboot will have a team of trainers, a chef and a life coach. The revamped reality show will also "provide the contestants with a 360-degree view of what it takes to make a serious lifestyle change," according to USA network. The 12 new contestants will learn how to prepare healthier food, participate in group therapy sessions and work out with new trainer Erica Lugo. Ultimately, the highest percentage of weight lost will still determine the winner, as in seasons past.
