You can't blame the Kardashians' unique way of spelling names for this one. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Andy Cohen explained that everyone has been mispronouncing "Khloé Kardashian." He noted that the "E" in Khloé's name has an accent, but he didn't delve into why Khloé's own sisters pronounce her name incorrectly.

"It's Khlo-ay," Cohen told Fallon. "Khlo-ay is the name. There's a little accent over the name."

Cohen said that Kris Jenner confirmed the pronunciation, too. He paid the entire Kardashian-Jenner family a visit in their natural habitat of Calabasas, California, for his new show, For Real, a seven-part series set to premiere on E! that covers the history of reality television.

"I went and interviewed the Kardashians at Khloé's house," Cohen added. "I walked in and I go, 'Khlo-ay,' and the other women go, 'Excuse me?' And Kris said, 'Yeah, that's actually how it's really pronounced.'"

"There's a little thing on top of the name, why am I the only one that got that?" Cohen told Fallon.

Glamour notes that Khloé isn't the only famous name that's been incorrectly pronounced — and continues to be. Ariana Grande (say it: Grand-ee) and Chrissy Teigen (TIE-gen, not TEE-gen) have noted that they've just accepted that their names won't ever be pronounced correctly.
