Literally two minutes ago the world had no idea who or what a Clayton Echard was and now this dude is moments away from filming his season of The Bachelor. And it’s officially official: The show is returning to its base at Bachelor Mansion after several seasons away from home!

While Reality Steve was the first to report that Clayton’s season would be starting off at Bachelor Mansion like the good ol’ days, executive producer Mike Fleiss just hopped on Twitter with confirmation, tweeting a photo from set with the caption “We’re back, baby!!! Feels good… #TheBachelor.”

Despite the fact that we just found out Clayton is our next Bachelor, we already have some info (which are kinda spoilers? Ish?) about his season. First of all, his potential contestants were dropped by ABC over the weekend, so go ahead and get to know them here:

Reality Steve also reported “there will be international travel” coming up on Clayton’s season and that “they do plan on going overseas.” In other words, it sounds like this upcoming season of The Bachelor is going to be pretty much a pre-COVID vibe.

But get this: We still don’t know who is hosting the show. Despite the fact that it appears to be filming, like...literally tomorrow. What we do know—at least according to Reality Steve—is that Wells Adams is not expected to be the new permanent host. As Steve wrote on Twitter, “Clayton’s season begins filming on Tuesday night at the mansion. Also, I don’t know who the new host is yet but I’m hearing now that’s it’s NOT Wells. As reported last month, they are looking for a new, permanent, solo host.”

This also implies that Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams are no longer going to be hosting the show, which is a shame because they are amazing!
