Wet n Wild's New MegaGlo Body Luminizer Is the Body Lava Drugstore Dupe We've Been Waiting For

Fenty Beauty's instantly iconic Body Lava sold out in the blink of a well-lined eye, and the liquid body highlighter has yet to return to inventory. It's left those who missed the chance to buy it (and those who bought it and already blew through it) aching for more of its glow-inducing goodness — or at least something like it to help fill the void. Well, it looks like Wet n Wild is helping to do exactly that with an upcoming launch that's so affordable, Fenty fans might opt for it even if Body Lava comes back.

On Friday, Wet n Wild teased a new product called MegaGlow Body Luminizer on its Instagram Story. In it, three models are shown applying it to their shoulders after shaking up the bottled mixture; one even blends it into her shoulder with a big kabuki brush just like Rihanna did in the famous Body Lava video that prompted hilarious spoofs. The clip indicated that that three shades will be launching on September 27.

Allure reached out to Wet n Wild for more details, and the brand told us that the shades are called Heart of Rosegold, Gold Rush, and Invested In Bronze; the latter two are vegan, and they're all cruelty-free, gluten-free, and paraben-free. The lightweight, buildable formula has micro-fine pearl pigments that create a luminous effect at the intensity of your choice, moisturizing skin with argan, macadamia, passionfruit seed, grapefruit seed, and sunflower seed oils.

Body Luminizer is the latest in Wet n Wild's beloved line of MegaGlo highlighters, and they seem to be especially similar to the MegaGlo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighters for the face. But now, instead of sharing those shades with your shoulders, your body can get its own dose of radiance for under $11 when it launches on walmart.com and wetnwildbeauty.com this week, or on October 22 when it hits Walmart stores.
