Westfield UTC to add new luxury, dining options in 2026

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The shopping experience at Westfield UTC is about to become even bigger.

The outdoor mall confirmed it will be adding new luxury boutiques, restaurants, valet arrival, sustainability features, greenspaces and community gathering places.

“The project will be developed on the former Nordstrom site and adjacent wing of shops, with no impact to the center’s existing operations,” UTC said on its website.

The mall already has luxury retailers like Chanel, Hermes Paris, Indochino, Le Labo, Louis Vuitton, Polestar, Restoration Hardware and Tiffany & Co.

Westfield UTC added that two “globally inspired restaurants located along La Jolla Village Drive” will also join the mall’s dining repertoire.

Construction on the expansion kicked off this month. It is expected to be completed by early 2026, officials said.
