If you're currently working from home, you might be required to hop on a phone call, or even worse... asked to join a video conference. Quick, where's the best lighting in your home? And what will the background look like there? Can your co-workers see your succulent collection? Or just that your walls needs a new paint job? Ahhh!

If you've ever worried about what your home looks like on screen when video chatting, you're not the only one. Fortunately, if your team is conducting meetings on Zoom, you can easily change up your background before the call. While Zoom offers some default backgrounds, choosing a panoramic shot of the Golden Gate Bridge isn't exactly realistic. Why don't you show your co-workers your beautiful industrial-glam loft space? Or your ultra-cozy cabin?

West Elm has created a collection of 14 very high-quality and well-lit backdrops of stylish home spaces for you to use as your Zoom background. Each backdrop is of a real-life living room, bedroom, kitchen, or other space that West Elm has featured on its blog. They're the perfect quick fix if you're trying to spice up the dull wall behind you during the call, or if you want to impress your co-workers with your classy crib. To get one of your own virtual home backgrounds, you can download them from West Elm's site here. Then, the next time you're on Zoom, click the gear settings in the upper right corner. Next, click “Virtual Background” from the bar on the left and you'll be able to upload your background. Easy peasy!

If you ask me, there are a few in this collection that look pretty real. While I'm not entirely sure you'd actually be able to trick your work squad, they're still super fun to play around with and much easier than redecorating your entire house... all before your 10 am call.
