To celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2017, Vogue worked with four iconic artists—Bruce Weber, Annie Leibovitz, Inez and Vinoodh, and artist John Currin—to photograph or create a portrait of actress Jennifer Lawrence on four separate covers. And, the best cover (in our humble opinion)? Photography duo Inez and Vindoodh’s portrait of Jennifer in a sequined gold Versace gown with a dangerously high slit and slicked-back hair.

Jennifer Lawrence Dons A Sequined Gold Versace Dress For The 2017 Cover Of 'Vogue'

So, Vogue released not one but four different covers of Jennifer for their 125th September issue! Our favorite is the one photographed by Inez and Vindoodh with Jennifer on a simple gray background in a gold sequined Versace dress. The gown featured a scoop-neck design, strappy sleeves, and a dangerously high slit that almost reached her hip bone. She accessorized with a couple of chunky gold rings from David Yurman.

Jennifer styled her blonde, shoulder-length hair slicked back so that her tresses curved up at the end. The Taylor Swift fan dewy makeup was done by Peter Phillips and consisted of gold, shimmery eye shadow, highlight on her cheekbones, a strong brow, and As for makeup, the actress was light pink lip gloss.

While we adore this specific cover, Jennifer looks just as incredible on the three other covers. The primary portrait, photographed by Annie Leibovitz was aptly titled "American Beauty" and shows Jennifer in a Ralph Lauren silky red dress with a loose low bun and subtle glam makeup. She can be seen leaning on the railing of a ferry at sunset with the Statue of Liberty in the background.

A third cover is a close-up black and white shot in which Jennifer looks off to the side while wearing a white Dior button-down shirt, natural makeup, and wavy beachy hair. And, the final cover is, by far, the most unique: It's an oil painting of the Don't Look Up actress in a tan Miu Miu dress and a round colorful Miu Miu hat by artist John Currin.
