It seems everywhere you look, natural disasters are wreaking havoc on our planet. From hurricanes, to droughts, and even wildfires — the occurrences are becoming more frequent. And last night, the residents of L.A. experienced an earthquake. Many took to Twitter to share their earthquake reactions — including some of our favorite celebrities. Because what else are you supposed to do after a minor earthquake, right?

The earthquake showed a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale. According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake hit the Westwood Village area around 11:20 p.m. local time and was felt everywhere from Los Angeles to Costa Mesa, Upland, the Pacific Palisades and a few other places.

Thankfully, we’ve yet to see any reports of serious injuries or damages, but we have seen several relatable and hilarious celebrity tweets.

We can always count on Chrissy Teigen to find the funny in bad situations. The earth literally shook beneath our feet and yet we couldn’t help but giggle at Chrissy’s tweet. She initially tried to blame it on Mercury being in retrograde, at least we think that’s what she meant.

She also revealed her more “vulnerable” side. Honestly, we would have peed our pants, too.

And of course, she got John involved — who apparently wasn’t picking up his phone.

Billy on the Street star Billy Eichner wasn’t too happy about the quake, as it could have interrupted his birthday celebrations.

Josh Gad perfectly described the world today. Seriously, whenever something major happens, what’s the first thing you do? Check Twitter.

Our girl Ruby Rose may be a little worried after reading a scary earthquake article the other day. Someone should check on her.

Kim Kardashian and Malika Haqq shared a BFF tweet to which we can pretty much all relate. Kim invited her friend to spend the night after Haqq said she was “so scared.”

It’s times like these we’re reminded that beneath all the fame and fabulosity, celebrities are just like us.

And while this one isn’t *technically* a tweet from a celebrity, The Walking Dead twitter account shared this LOL-worthy comment.

The USGS said Monday night’s earthquake carried light to moderate shaking and was categorized as intensity 4 and 5.

“We get these size earthquakes fairly frequently,” the U.S. Geological Survey seismologist Zachary Reeves told The Los Angeles Times. “Any severe damage would be pretty unlikely.”

As for is, we’re just happy the quake didn’t cause any significant damage, and that no one was harmed. Oh, and that we got all these celebrity tweets, of course.
