Who Went Home on Week 6 of ‘The Bachelorette’ as Charity Visited Hometowns of Final Four Men?

Charity Lawson’s final four guys introduced her to their hometowns on Monday night’s episode 6 of The Bachelorette.

But she would have to eliminate one man before a fabulous Fiji trip to fantasy suites.

The child and family therapist’s decision would be crushing.

Charity, 27, noted that it was “a pivotal week” in her search for love.

She was excited to meet the families of Aaron Bryant, Joey Graziadei, Xavier Bonner and Dotun Olubeko.

What happened next? Read on to find out more!

How did Charity’s date with Aaron go?

In Aaron’s Houston, Texas hometown, he said it had been ten years since he’d brought a woman to meet his family.

Charity sighed in confessional that after their early chemistry, “Me and Aaron are probably the furthest behind.”

Aaron admitted that they hadn’t talked about love.

As Parade.com’s sneak peek clip previously revealed, Charity met Aaron’s mom Ethel, who grilled her, asking, “What if Aaron proposed to you today? What would be your answer? Would you be ready to say yes or not?”

On Monday’s episode, Charity gave Ethel her honest answer: “Probably not.” She explained that she needed more time to be “100 percent” sure.

The suitor had emotional heart-to-heart chats with his brother Erick and dad Eddie, who thought Charity was a “sharp, articulate young lady.”

Ethel told Aaron, “I more than like her. She’s grounded.”

Charity told his mom, “I can’t wait to come back” after the warm family dinner.

Later, Aaron took Charity to his high school football field and told her, “I’m falling in love with you.”

What happened on Joey’s hometown date with Charity?

The reality star headed to Collegeville, Pennsylvania, where Joey grew up.

The tennis pro gave Charity a court lesson and she gushed, “Joey makes me giddy. I feel loved in his presence.”

But the hunk’s uncle Joe showed up and after meeting Charity, he told cameras, “Something didn’t feel 100 percent with Joey.”

They went to his family home to see Joe again--plus Joey’s mom Cathy, dad Nick, and two sisters.

“I’m falling in love with him,” Charity told his sibling Carly.

Joey’s mom cried buckets, worrying he’d get his heart broken.

Uncle Joe was also concerned, saying, “Joey is a little bit of a pleaser.”

Joe told Charity he didn’t know if his nephew was ready to be a husband yet.

Charity felt confused after speaking to Joey’s uncle, as he warned her, “Be careful with his heart.”

When they left the house, Joey assured Charity, “I keep falling more and more.”

But the uneasy Bachelorette shrugged to cameras, “It didn’t go bad. It went good.”

Joey thought that Charity had seemed uncomfortable and wondered, “Could this be the end for us?”

Did Charity enjoy her hometown visit with Xavier’s family?

Charity turned up in Cleveland, Ohio, where Xavier had planned a date at a local yarn store.

The avid knitter taught her some tricks in a needle class where she saw “a wholesome side of Xavier.”

As Parade readers know, however, Charity needed to see more because she had previously worried about Xavier’s similarity to her cheating ex-boyfriend!

“Is he ready? I’m scared,” Charity moaned before meeting his mother, who has MS.

Xavier’s sister insisted to Charity that he wanted a serious relationship.

His mom also told Charity, “I know he wants to get married…he said he wants to be a dad.”

The beauty was relieved that he had husband potential.

Strangely, though, Xavier told cameras that his sister “loves Charity more than me!”

But he told The Bachelorette afterwards, “I’m falling in love with you.”

How did Charity and Dotun mesh on their hometown date?

In Fresno, California, the 6’7” medical physiologist told Charity the bad news that his folks were away on a scheduled trip to Nigeria.

But as the two met other members of Dotun’s family, his parents appeared in the family home's backyard!

“They sacrificed their time in Nigeria to be here,” Dotun told cameras. Then he revealed, “My mom is very critical.”

His mother Adenike told Dotun she hoped Charity loved him as much as he loved her.

Dotun’s dad felt he was ready to propose.

Adenike then confronted Charity, asking her, “Where are you now with my son?”

Charity cried as she told her Dotun was special.

His mom promised to give them a wedding in Nigeria!

Dotun then drove her in a classic convertible to a drive-in movie theater, to watch video of their childhood photos.

Charity teared up for joy in his arms.

What happened in the rose ceremony?

Charity said she’d never felt more conflicted trying to decide which man to send home: “I don’t know what the hell I’m gonna do.”

The guys arrived at a Los Angeles airport hangar for a flight that would be bound for Fiji. But only three of them would be going!

She said, “God help me” before giving roses to: Dotun, Xavier, and Joey.

That meant Aaron was eliminated!

Charity told him her connections with the other three were stronger.

“Nothing I say is going to make you feel better,” she said.

He replied, “I hate that it wasn’t me.”

She cried and he got into the van.

Aaron sobbed as he left the show, “I wanted to make her my wife. I just don’t know what I did wrong.”

Charity noted that she’d been falling in love with Aaron “but I sent him home.”

Who did Charity eliminate on week 6 of The Bachelorette season 20?

Aaron Bryant, 30, a software salesman from Katy, Texas.
