AGT Fantasy League Results Tonight: Who Survived Night 2

The America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League competition heated up on night two with 10 of the 40 all-star artists from Got Talent shows worldwide competing on the AGT stage in hopes of making the semi-finals.

What makes Fantasy League unique from other AGT shows is for the first time in the franchise’s history, judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B chose their dream teams from a roster of acts voted on by America and then mentored them throughout the competition.

Tonight’s America's Got Talent episode included magicians, musicians, a comedian, a dog act, a dance group and an aerialist, a hand balance act and acrobats that had everybody on the edge of their seats.

The winning act will receive a grand prize of $250,000 while their respective judge will earn bragging rights about guiding their contestant to being crowned the champion of AGT: Fantasy League.

Last week, Mel B had the Golden Buzzer and she used it to steal skating duo Billy & Emily England away from Simon and sent them straight to the finale. Making it to the semifinals via the fan vote were Kodi Lee, Kristy Sellars, Kseniya Simonova, Shadow Ace and V. Unbeatable.

Howie said: “We’ve seen a lot of animal acts, we’ve seen a lot of dog acts but we’ve never seen one like Hurricane where it seems that Hurricane has trained you.”

Simon said: “Since the day that we met you, you have just got better and better and better. I really think the fact that you put your title on the line and came back to compete says so much about you.”

ACT 2: TEAM HEIDI

Heidi said: “Honestly, I’ve never seen Simon Cowell so gob smacked.”

Simon said: “Yes. You delivered the best overall performance I’ve seen from you. Maybe this is the year you are going to win.”

Howie said: “I thought when I watched it, very good and it is a beautiful story [Simon paid for one of the dancer's back surgery] and I’m really moved, but this stage is hosting the best of the best and I don’t know if it’s great.”

Heidi said: “I feel that all of you dance like a well-oiled machine, but I do have to be honest. I find it a little bit snoozy because we do have dance acts on the stage that are flying through the air and do wilder [things].”

ACT 4: TEAM HOWIE

DRAKE MILLIGAN
AGT S17 – Third place finalist
Country Singer

Howie said: “Elvis has not left the building.”

Simon said: “I love Drake. I love Drake as an artist and also as a person and I’ve said this a lot about Drake, but that wasn’t my favorite song he’s ever done. I think as a writer, you’re better than that.”

Howie explained that Drake didn’t write the song. Simon continued, “That’s bad mentoring. I didn’t feel that there was a connection between you and that song weirdly. Now you’ve told me why.”

ACT 5: TEAM HEIDI

Heidi said: “You are incredible. The best.”

Howie said: “I still think you can do better. You can,” as he tried to inch his way over to hit the Golden Buzzer as Heidi wrestled with him to keep him from stealing one of her best acts.

Howie said: “You got jokes. You got charisma. I don’t got a Golden Buzzer anymore but I have a feeling you aren’t going to need it. I have a feeling you’re going to be one of the six going through tonight.”

Simon said: “You’re really, really, really talented at everything but I’m trying to work out what your unique selling point is. When I go out to dinner, the worst thing is if someone orders a starter because I just want the main course and, I think, with your act tonight, the end was the main course and the starter was the stuff on the ball.”

Mel B said: “It’s really, really hard what you just did and you crammed it all in and, I think, good on you.”

ACT 8: TEAM MEL B

Howie said: “What you did, it was okay up until you did the sword on sword. If you fall, your entire face is impaled. That took it to a whole new level.”

Simon said: “I think because we had a similar act earlier on that had more levels... I think you are really, really talented. However, in this show, you’ve got to step it up from where you were before. I saw you on Britain’s Got Talent and I don’t think that was a step up.”

Simon said: “I actually got emotional. I think Mel is being overly competitive and didn’t need to buzz him, so why did you?

Mel B said: “I did need to buzz him because I just wasted four minutes of my life I’m never going to get back. At the end of the day, we just had two guys balancing on swords and then he comes out.”

Simon said: “He spent two years preparing for this performance, he flew a long, long time to be here, he’s emotional, he wants to win, and he might not be your cup of tea but we look for things that are different. You’re unique, you’re funny and I really liked it.”

Mel said: “I have to say you’re gorgeous by the way [commenting on the fact that he finally took off his mask]. And I’m not just saying that.”

Heidi said: “You do look gorgeous, and you did a beautiful rendition with that song. You nailed it. I loved it.”

Howie said: “I’m blown away. My soapbox is mental health. The biggest hurdles that we have in life are the hurdles that we have inside ourselves. Not only did you step it up from anything you’ve ever done on AGT before, but I think you did something wonderful for the world.”

Then host Terry Crews announced the five acts – in no particular order -- voted through to the semifinals by the AGT superfans audience: Adrian Stoica and Hurricane, Grace Good, Preacher Lawson, Sheldon Riley and Vardanyan Brothers.

America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and next day on Peacock.
