Joey Graziadei’s uncertainty about one of his final four women caused him to cut her from the show on Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor.

The season 28 star visited the hometowns of Kelsey Anderson, Rachel Nance, Daisy Kent, and Maria Georgas on week 8. But at the end of the show, one lady was left without a seat on the plane to Tulum, Mexico, the site of the upcoming finale.

All of the gals had the typical show concerns about loving The Bachelor but not being sure how close he’s become with the others.

Last week, jealous Maria almost left the show because Joey, 28, wasn’t all hers. She calmed down and returned.

However, the 28-year-old tennis teacher had a big decision to make after meeting the four finalists’ families.

How did Joey’s hometown with Kelsey go?

The hunk met Kelsey in New Orleans, Louisiana, where they rode a tandem bike through a local park.

Kelsey saw butterflies which reminded her of her late mom.

“I wish that she could meet Joey,” the beauty sighed to cameras, getting teary-eyed and adding that it was hard not having her mother for the big life moments.

They spotted a woman getting wedding photos taken in the park, inspiring Joey and Kelsey to discuss how that might be her, soon!

After Kelsey mentioned how she’s scared to get her heart broken, he advised her to “be honest with yourself.”

In confessional, Joey said, “She has this brightness to her,” and made him happy every day.

Kelsey shed more tears over the loss of her mom but Joey told her things would be okay.

“My mom would love Joey,” she told cameras.

Later, Kelsey introduced him to her brother, sister, and dad.

Father Mark showed Joey photos of Kelsey with her mom.

Privately, Kelsey told her sister Taylor that she didn’t know where Joey was with the other girls.

Mark told Joey he would expect him “to be a protector” of Kelsey.

Joey assured him, “I’m lucky I’ve gotten to meet her” through The Bachelor process.

“My feelings for her are real and they do make sense,” he noted.

Mark felt reassured and sat down with Kelsey. The two shared a tender moment as Kelsey gave him credit for taking care of her mother as she died of cancer -- and then leading the family.

She said she could see Joey being that kind of man, too. “I think I love him,” Kelsey smiled to her father.

After the family meeting, Joey raved to Kelsey about how open they’d been.

“We left today stronger than we went into it,” he told cameras.

What happened when Joey met Rachel’s family?

The nurse has been the most unexpected of Joey’s top four, but viewers learned more about Rachel on Monday night’s episode.

While Rachel had grown up in Hawaii, Joey met her family in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Rachel revealed she is Filipino, and taught Joey how to show her family respect as they fed him with a full roasted pig and performed a stick dance.

They all had supported her previously during a bad breakup.

Rachel’s dad Hakim said about The Bachelor, “I’ve never seen the show,” and urged her to stay on an even keel because “you always have us.”

He cried after Rachel said, “You are the number one man in my life.”

Her mom Noela took Joey aside and confided she was “skeptical” about the show.

Noela started crying and said, “She’s been hurt…you have so much to offer,” while adding, “There are three other women involved.”

Joey told her, “I wish I could promise so much more.”

Then Noela told Rachel privately, “I’m still cautious. Guard your heart, sweetheart.”

Later, Rachel admitted to Joey how wary both of her parents were, but told him, “I’m definitely falling in love with you.”

He replied, “It’s so great to hear that.”

Was Daisy’s hometown visit a success?

The blonde with hearing loss led Joey on a tour of her family’s Christmas tree farm in Becker, Minnesota.

Daisy’s friends joined them and she recalled again the “dark period" in her life before getting a cochlear implant.

“I’m really happy” with Joey, she giggled to her thrilled pals.

The tennis pro told her “I see so much in us,” before meeting her family.

Daisy confided to cameras she was a little confused about her relationship with Joey but hoped her folks could help.

Her mom Julie asked if they’d said "I love you" and Joey replied that she’d held back.

In confessional, Julie asserted, “I feel like Joey truly loves her.”

Daisy told her, “I like him a lot.”

Julie pressed her to let loose with Joey.

“She has to be vulnerable to make it work,” Daisy’s mother told cameras.

Daisy admitted to her dad Brandon she was putting up a wall but he felt that was normal.

On the porch, Daisy told Joey, “I am falling in love with you…you make me so happy. My whole family can see that.”

The blonde account executive wanted to see where things went, and so did Joey!

“I can see Daisy being my wife,” he said in confessional.

Did Maria’s father accept Joey?

Maria has stolen the spotlight all season, as she’s been involved in a bullying controversy and has threatened to leave the show.

But she was delighted to meet him in her Niagara Falls, New York, hometown, where they cuddled on a boat.

The spark “is always there with us,” Joey said, while adding Maria scared him with her walkout threats.

“I’m here to stay,” Maria vowed in confessional.

Joey wanted to feel confident but still had doubts.

He was further shocked when Maria told him, “I’ve never brought anyone home” to family.

Joey wondered to cameras how the sexy brunette, 29, had gone so long without inviting anyone home!

He probably understood more when he met her intimidating and old-school Greek father, Nick, who said Maria was “Daddy’s girl.”

Fans never saw Maria’s mother, Lori, speak, while Nick took over, telling cameras he didn’t want his daughter hurt.

Maria’s father told Joey in a man-to-man conversation that he almost lost her in a car accident. “That was the worst day of my life. She’s my angel, my princess.”

Joey assured him how much he respected marriage, and Nick said if they chose each other, “I would have no problems giving you my blessings. We’re going to have one big fat Greek wedding.”

Later, Nick told his daughter, “I’m here for you, no matter what.

"Give this a chance. He’s a good guy.”

Nick also told cameras, “I can tell she’s in love.”

But Maria only told Joey, “I feel very strong about you,” and avoided the L word!

She admitted to cameras as Joey left in a van, “I just froze.”

Who went home at the rose ceremony?

With three roses available, the gals assembled at an airport where the lucky ones would board a plane to Mexico.

When Joey arrived, Maria asked to speak with him privately and finally opened her heart, saying, “I am falling in love with you.”

But Joey seemed cold, saying, “Thank you. Okay.”

They walked back to the ceremony, and Joey gave his roses to Daisy, Kelsey, and Rachel.

Maria smiled grimly with tears in her eyes as she got eliminated.

Joey walked her out and said, “We’ve had a bumpy road. I felt like it would be dishonest to move forward with the amount of doubts I have.”

Maria replied, “That’s fine.”

Still, she said in the van taking her home, “I’m confused. What more can I give this man? It sucks.”
