Wendy's Sweetens Up Its Breakfast Menu With New French Toast Sticks
There are few breakfast treats that summon sugary-sweet nostalgia like French toast sticks. Fans of this throwback breakfast staple will be excited to hear that Wendy's will introduce Homestyle French Toast Sticks to its breakfast menu soon.
Upon taking a bite into the Homestyle French Toast Sticks’ golden-brown crust, you'll be met with a soft, custardy interior with notes of vanilla. Since no serving of French toast is complete without a side of syrup for drizzling and dunking, Wendy’s latest breakfast addition also comes with a syrup dip.
Homestyle French Toast Sticks will be available in-restaurant and on the Wendy’s app starting August 15.
According to Carl Loredo, Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy's Company, the Homestyle French Toast Sticks seek to bring back a nostalgic fave while also staying true to Wendy's refreshing array of breakfast menu items, which currently includes croissant sandwiches, seasoned potatoes, and more.
"Our Homestyle French Toast Sticks strike a perfect note of nostalgia and bring even more morning flavor to our menu – this time with something sweet," said Loredo in a statement. "From day one, we launched our breakfast offering to save fans from the boring and bland morning options that exist at some of our competitors, and we've done just that. Wendy's all-new Homestyle French Toast Sticks give our fans a better breakfast worthy of their first meal of the day."
