It is March and that means several things. Spring is in the air. We all become Irish for a day to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irish-inspired dishes. And we close out the month with Easter, giving us the perfect reason to cook up seasonal dishes such as roasted ham and deviled eggs made from leftover Easter eggs. Plus, throughout the month, college basketball fans will celebrate March Madness, crowding into sports bars with brackets to cheer on their favorite teams or having friends over to watch the NCAA tournament games and eat tasty appetizers.

Lucky for us, while we're busy enjoying all these festive occasions, Wendy’s is lowering prices on two of its burgers between now and April 10, to coincide with March Madness and to make grabbing a bite on the go easy, and cheap. (Maybe this is an olive branch from the fast food chain after it made news recently due to remarks made by its CEO about dynamic pricing.)

How to Score a $1 Dave's Single or a $2 Dave's Double at Wendy’s

Wendy’s has an in-app exclusive March Madness deal for Wendy’s Rewards members. Members can score the “Official Hamburger of March Madness,” a $1 Dave’s Single—quarter-pound of fresh beef, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, mayo, and onion on a toasted bun—or a $2 Dave’s Double, with one more burger patty and one more slice of cheese than the single.

To get the deal, go to the Wendy’s app between now and April 10. Add a Dave's Single or Dave's Double to your cart and that’s it. You can add other food and drink—such as a Frosty and French fries—to your cart but no additional purchase is necessary to get the deal. There’s a limit of one qualifying item per redemption, and it’s a one-time use deal.

There are 67 games in a March Madness tournament, so you’re going to need a lot of snacks to get through them all. In addition to Wendy’s deal, take a look at how other brands are getting in on the fun, including Buffalo Wild Wings which just added two new honey-based wing sauces to its lineup, and the official cracker of the tournament, Ritz, introducing two new Toasted Chips flavors. It's sure to be a good month.
