Wendy's Revives Summer Staple Menu Item
It’s going to be a berry-licious summer at Wendy’s.
Fans will be delighted to know that Wendy’s is bringing back a favorite menu item specifically for the hot summer months.
Starting right now, you can indulge in the Summer Strawberry Salad, available at restaurants—in-store and through the drive-thru—for a limited time.
The fast food franchise notes that the famous seasonal staple is packed with “high-quality ingredients and oh-so craveable flavors,” which include sun-ripened, hand-picked strawberries, juicy grilled chicken, Applewood smoked bacon, and a savory Tuscan cheese blend, drizzled with a sweet and tangy Champagne Vinaigrette. The ingredients are laid on top of the fresh spring mix lettuce to provide a “perfectly sweet and savory flavor explosion!”

You can also get free food by using the Wendy’s app and earning Wendy’s rewards points. Pair your refreshing salad with a new Strawberry Frosty, which is only 200 reward points on the app!
Just last month, Wendy’s announced the frozen strawberry treat, adding that it would replace the vanilla flavor for the summer months.
“After the response we saw last year, we knew it was something that deserved to reclaim its place on this summer’s menu," John Li, Wendy's vice president of culinary innovation, said while announcing the flavor's comeback.
Plenty of food franchises are experimenting with new and returning seasonal menu items to help customers cool down, including Starbucks, which added a new Frappuccino, in addition to a cold brew coffee flavor. Meanwhile, Panera revived two lobster fan-favorite dishes as a perfect summertime treat.
