Fast food favorites Wendy’s have brought a classic back to menus, and fans are are already raving that it’s “soooo good”!
The fave item that just returned to menus is Wendy’s Strawberry Summer Salad, just in time for the summer season—and at a minuscule 225 calories, it promises fresh satisfaction to suit any diet, beach-boy-consciousness and all.
Wendy's Strawberry Summer Salad Is Back On Menus
The Strawberry Summer Salad at Wendy's is a fresh, never frozen meal, made with "sun-ripened, hand-picked strawberries, juicy grilled chicken, crisp applewood smoked bacon, candied almonds and a savory Tuscan cheese blend," drizzled with a "sweet and tangy Champagne vinaigrette and placed on a bed of fresh spring mix greens," according to the Wendy's site. The produce is all fresh, and the chicken and bacon are cooked in-restaurant, with everything prepared daily. The salad can be customized with any choice of dressing, from the aforementioned Champagne Vinaigrette to Caesar, Ranch, or Southwest Ranch dressings, or Pomegranate Vinaigrette for an equally fruity flavor infusion.
Customers can order the salad at participating Wendy's restaurants, drive-thrus, and pre-order online at Wendys.com or via the mobile app. If you use the mobile app, of course, you have the benefit of automatically earning Wendy's Rewards points, which eventually add up to get back free items. Don't delay on your order, though—true to its name, this summer salad is only available through, well, summer!
