Wendy's, like many other fast food chains, is operating on a drive-thru, takeout, and delivery-only model. To cheer up customers who are making drive-thru orders, Wendy's is offering a free junior-sized Frosty with every order.

Wendy's dining rooms are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but you can still go inside to place an order and take your food to go. That said, the free Frosty promotion is only eligible on drive-thru orders as of right now. Wendy's has been staying up to date with the ever-changing dialogue around the current health crisis and is doing everything they can to still serve their customers while keeping everyone safe.

The junior-sized Frosty will be available in both vanilla and chocolate and will be free of charge. This menu item is usually around $1 to purchase, but the price varies by location. Free Frostys will be added to drive-thru orders for a limited time, but it's likely that this offer will stick around while the chain works on delivery and to-go ordes only.

Wendy's isn't the first chain to add freebies to their orders. Burger King is offering free kid's meals with orders and Olive Garden is promoting a buy one, take one car-side order option that gets customers a hot, ready-to-eat meal (as well as one that is chilled and can be saved for later). Other restaurants are transforming into grocery markets so shopped can take home ingredients to prepare on their own.
