A Wendy’s mixtape should be the worst thing ever. For one, it’s not the first time the stunt’s been pulled-Hamburger Helper released its own shockingly good mixtape in 2016-and for two, a worldwide junk food giant aping the album art of the late, great Notorious B.I.G. just feels incredibly icky. If any attention-grab might have pushed Wendy's reputation as corporate social media darling too far, this could have been it. But one fact can't be escaped: The Wendy's mixtape is pretty great.

The company teased the release on Twitter, before dropping its mixtape on Friday.

Over the course of the 10-minute long release, "Wendy" takes aim the competition, especially McDonald's. "You No. 1? That's a joke / Why you ice cream machine always broke?" she asks on the appropriately biting "Rest in Grease." "Why you drive-thru always slow? / Why you innovation just can't grow? / It's queen Wendy, need I say more?"

While we're all listening to these undeniable bops, it should be mentioned that Wendy's has refused to join brands like McDonald's and Burger King in signing onto the Fair Food Program, an agreement that would ensure that the workers picking vegetables to supply restaurant chains are paid fairly and treated humanely.
