A Wellness-Oriented Private Island Off the Coast of Finland Is Headed to Auction
This private island off the coast of Finland is like having your own piece of Nordic paradise. And you can make a bid on it starting next week.
Raseborg Island, better known as SuperShe Island, is going under the hammer from October 12 through October 26. Tucked away in the Baltic Sea near Helsinki, the remote archipelago offers approximately eight-and-a-half acres and is best accessed by boat or helicopter. If the name didn’t give it away, the off-grid compound has a history as a luxury, all-female resort. The buzzy, woman-only sanctuary previously offered Goop-type wellness retreats that included daily activities like yoga, breathing exercises, meditation, and cooking classes.

The private island boasts pine forests, its own golden-sand beach, and four freshly renovated cabins totaling 1,800 square feet. Each of the Scandi-style dwellings sports a cozy fireplace, a modern kitchen and bathroom, and a Hästens mattress (the Swedish company’s highest-end model sells for more than $500,000!). There are three additional mini cabins, each measuring 350 square feet.
Of course, the best part of having SuperShe Island all to yourself is not having to share the amenities. The grounds include a 100-square-foot spa yurt, a 750-square-foot yoga yurt, and a traditional Finnish sauna. Elsewhere, you’ll find an antique fire pit and an outdoor kitchen. If you’re interested in taking the island to the next level, an additional 2,000 square feet of buildable land has already been approved for expansion; the plot could be used for extra lodging, more recreational activities, or whatever else you can dream up.
Once listed at €2.9 million (or roughly $3 million), SuperShe is now being auctioned with reserve by Concierge Auctions, in collaboration with Tea Käyhkö of Snellman Sotheby’s International Realty. The online sale will end on October 26 and is expecting starting bids of €1 million to €2 million (or roughly $1 million to $2 million). Interested in checking out the property?
