Did you like the movie Idiocracy? Then, you’ll love this news.

The 2006 movie, directed and written by Mike Judge, will be celebrating its 10th birthday back in theaters. Since its initial release, fans have realized that while it was a funny and intriguing look at people today, it might have been a little more accurate than we originally imagined. As it’s turned into a total cult classic throughout the last decade, select Alamo Drafthouse and Art House Convergence theaters throughout the United States will be airing the film.

Can’t find a local theater on the list? That’s okay too. In fact, Alamo knew that a lot of people would want to participate from near and far away. (After all, not all of us live in Texas, which seems to be participating quite heavily! Lucky.) That’s why fans can also purchase the film on their own and watch remotely, while joining in on the official Facebook discussion page.

Idiocracy fans will also be able to submit some questions for Mike Judge and film star Maya Rudolph, who’ll be streaming in live to talk about the film.

All in all? That’s pretty darn cool. If only all films had similar celebrations for their 10-year anniversary!
