Welch's Is Releasing Juicy Canned Cocktails That Come In 4 Flavors
First, SunnyD flipped our childhood nostalgia on its head by introducing their first-ever hard seltzer. And now Welch's is jumping on the canned cocktail bandwagon. The fruit juice brand we've known since we were kids has just announced a new line of enticing canned cocktails.
The juicy collection of adult drinks, which are produced by Coop Beverage Works, will include four flavors: Vodka Transfusion, Vodka Cranberry, Watermelon Mule, and Passion Fruit Mojito.
Each flavor is made with real fruit juice and spirits, and all of the canned cocktails come in at 5.9% ABV.
"We are extremely excited to partner with Welch’s to create this lineup of Craft Cocktails that will bring classic cocktail recipes to the market with the fruit juice flavors that Welch’s is known for,” Ryan Stump, Coop Beverage Works’ vice president of business operations, said in a statement. “These products were developed to elevate the experience of ready-to-drink cocktails by using real fruit juices and ingredients that today’s consumers are looking for. Whether these drinks are being enjoyed at dinner parties, out on the golf course, or after a long day at work, Welch’s Craft Cocktails deliver a refreshing experience with quality ingredients.”
It was just last year when SunnyD shook up spring with its Vodka Seltzer, a 4.5% ABV drink with "a bold orange flavor." We can only imagine what nostalgic favorite from our past will be next up to jump on the booze train. Capri Sun? Gatorade?!
Welch's new canned cocktails are shipping soon to retailers in select states, so you can expect to find them at a store near you in the near future.
