This Has To Be The Weirdest Taco Bell Delivery Mix-Up Ever

In the past year, fast food orders have become a sort of treasure trove of random discoveries. There was the time a woman in California found an Olympic gold medal in a discarded McDonald's bag. And the time a Georgia grandmother's KFC drive-thru order included over $500 in cash. But a recent Taco Bell order may be the most puzzling of them all.

The Takeout reports that Reddit user TheCrick from Louisville, Kentucky, was left confused when a Taco Bell order delivered via DoorDash had absolutely no food in it. Instead of a Soft Taco Supreme, Mexican Pizza, and other Taco Bell items, there was a new, neatly-packaged uniform for Taco Bell employees.

“I ordered TB via DD [DoorDash] for delivery last night,” the man shared with The Takeout in a Reddit message. “The driver showed up, handed me my drink and the bag. Which I felt was super light for the expected contents. But I shrugged and took upstairs to my condo.”

Understandably, the man—who had the order redelivered—assumed the delivery fiasco was some strange joke or quirky Taco Bell promo. It was neither.

“Upon getting seated and unsealing the bag I noted the shirt and apron in the poly bags and thought this was some joke,” he continued. “I messaged the DoorDasher to see if this was some promo or joke. He was mystified and had never seen anything like this. I contacted DoorDash which offered to redeliver.”

The man did eventually receive the correct order, but the whole ordeal has left Reddit sleuths wondering if it was simply a matter of someone tossing their uniform in a bag or something more mysterious.
