Weird Beer Weekend at Brewery Vivant

Brewery Vivant is keeping things bizarre this weekend with the return of its Weird Beer Weekend.

There will be four new and zany beers for guests to try including African Peanut Stew, Fennel and Citrus, Vegan Mushroom Pastrami and Prickly Pear Cheesecake.

Taylor Swift listening party in GR

Friday will be a monstrous day for music as Taylor Swift will release her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

And in anticipation of the album sure to be on everyone’s playlist for the next year or so, Courage and Soar is hosting a listening party from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday night.

The Grand Rapids Griffins are getting set for the AHL playoffs next week but have one more stop at Van Andel Arena before then and the team wants to give back to the fans.
