Wegmans Sells A ‘Friendsgiving’-Flavored Ice Cream That Will Be A Holiday Staple

Thanksgiving turkey gets all the credit, but it's about time we give Thanksgiving dessert the hype it deserves. Your mind may automatically go to pie or cake, but Wegmans has new products that prove Thanksgiving is also a great time for ice cream. There's even one flavor available at the grocery store that's specifically meant to help you celebrate Friendsgiving.

Friendsgiving is a term that has quickly become tradition; it refers to the celebration of Thanksgiving with your friends or chosen family prior to the actual holiday (which falls on the fourth Thursday of November every year, FYI). Usually it's a potluck-style dinner, and with this Wegmans flavor, it will be pretty easy to decide what you're bringing to the table this year.

The Perry's ice cream flavors were spotted at Wegmans by @Foodiewiththebeasts, and the Friendsgiving flavor is described on the label as being almond ice cream with blackberry swirls and sugar cookie dough pieces. A photo on the packaging shows blackberry jam thumbprint cookies, so it's likely that cookie is the inspiration for the ice cream. It's also limited-edition according to the label, so be sure to get it for all of your November celebrations while you can.

Along with this unique Friendsgiving flavor, Perry's also has other seasonal limited-edition ice creams like pumpkin pie, white Christmas, and peppermint stick all alongside Wegmans brand ice creams in eggnog and pumpkin pie flavors. 'Tis the season, you guys!
