Weekly Astrology Forecast, June 4-10: Becoming More and More Yourself

This week is all about you, Venus, and Leo. As the planet of honoring you worth and individuality begins a rare three-month stay in the regal fire sign, we are invited to give our all to whatever contributes to our sense of self, our self-confidence, and our self-love.
Venus in Leo
Venus typically spends approximately 20 days in each zodiac sign, although we are blessed with the beginning of a three-month stay. This longer-than-usual residence, due to the upcoming Venus retrograde in July, offers an opportunity to sink into the invitations of the sign and let them take hold in our lives, our concept of self, and our way of moving through the world.
In astrology, Venus is our sense of self-worth and innate value. She is beauty, love, prosperity, receptivity, magnetism, and fertility. She is desire, attraction, and embodiment. She defines what we find pleasurable, beautiful, and worthy of our time, effort, and energy. It is through this process of definition that we reach a greater sense of individuation, self-definition, fulfillment, and settling into our place in the world. Venus draws to herself what she desires not because she is lacking without it. Rather, she embodies her worthiness knowing that all is drawn to her with ease and pleasure.
As Venus travels through the zodiac, her very essence is expressed through the particular lens of each sign. During the last month transiting through the emotional sign of Cancer, the expression of Venus has been inward and receptive. As she moves into Leo, however, that inward expression shifts outward. While the receptivity remains, the emphasis becomes just as much about taking action and giving as receiving. It is through fueling our desires that we increase our magnetism and draw to ourselves all that is meant for us.
These are the very things that Leo desires. Leo is here to become complete and whole. It is our self-expression and creativity, warmth, and confidence. It is bold, passionate, giving, sincere, and loving.
Ruled by the Sun, Leo's direction is wholly and fully toward individuality, establishing our personal identity, sense of self, and passions. And, like the Sun, the self-expression of Leo is not meant for anyone else. Leo shines because it is its nature to do so. Leo gives and loves and takes action because it is the sign’s nature to do so. Leo expresses its light into the world just as brilliantly as the Sun because that is what it is here to do--and it teaches us that by actualizing who we are here to be, we can be fulfilled in ways beyond imagination.

There is a beautiful and cohesive collaboration that takes place as Venus and Leo come together in our cosmos.
Venus is the lens through which we define what we value in the world. It is through pouring into what we find valuable and worthy--whether that is our relationships, art, work, home, family, fashion, health, appearance, or anything else--that we deepen our understanding and natural expression of who we are. As we pour into what we love, we become more alive, fulfillment feeds us, and we find clarity regarding why we are here to shine.
This week sparks the invitation to own what matters to you and what fulfills you. It asks you to lean into what you know is worthy of your value, time, effort, and life force--the things you desire from deep within your body, the passions that move through you like fire and stars. As you feed into these passions, they feed back into you.
This transit is self-centered. It's about you. It's about honoring your value. It's about shining your light for yourself. It's about the desires that fill your heart. It's about your relationship with love, and the love you hold for yourself. It's about your creativity, and your connection to life-force, and it's about knowing that you are worthy of diving straight into the things that bring color to your life.
Your invitation is to be bold. Be you. Consider what you value. Lean into how you value yourself. Honor your expression. Shine your light. Build yourself up. Love daringly. Feel your passions fully. Own your desires. Leap towards your dreams. Continue to feed into the art that is your life, and the art that is you.
