You might not catch Jenna Ortega blinking on Netflix’s Wednesday (as per Tim Burton’s specific instructions) but you will be treated to some hilarious moments of goofing off in between takes thanks to the official Wednesday blooper reel. The Still Watching Netflix YouTube channel released a compilation of some of the funniest off-script cast moments and character breaks and we promise that they'll be living in your head rent-free.

Jenna Ortega (Wednesday), Christina Ricci (Marilyn Thornhill), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia), Luis Guzman (Gomez), Emma Myers (Enid), and Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley) make up a portion of the oh-so-talented Wednesday cast. Most of the actors play high schoolers (although their actual ages vary wildly) and their hard work is paying off because Wednesday just dethroned Dahmer to become the second most-watched Netflix show of all time.

But don’t be fooled — the cast isn’t above having some fun on set and laughing at their own mistakes. From tripping over forgotten lines to breaking character while serenading each other in off-key warbles (we’re looking at you, Morticia and Gomez 👀), plenty of on-set antics were captured in the show's Season 1 blooper compilation.

The blooper reel revealed that the actors dealt with airplanes constantly interrupting their takes with rumbling noises and had to pause multiple times for the aircrafts to pass by. “If you growl at it hard enough, it’ll go away,” Jenna deadpanned off-camera as a noisy airplane flew overhead. “I tried that on people. It works every time.”

“[That’s] the most aggressive plane,” she exasperatedly said in another clip. “The plane! The plane! Ha. Ha,” Luis Guzman joked in character while waiting for airplane sounds to die down before continuing filming.

Friendships blossomed while the cast filmed the spooky series in Romania. Emma Myers and Jenna Ortega, who play roommates (with fans theorizing that they might be something more) on the screen, shared a funny moment in the blooper reel. “Oh, sorry! Did I hit you in the face right now? Hold on,” laughed Jenna as she accidentally hit Emma with a flashlight as she climbed through a window during a take. “Are you okay?"

Fans had plenty to say about the 1:38-minute-long video, specifically about Jenna’s performance. “It's amazing how much Jenna embodies Wednesday even when she's smiling ear-to-ear,” commented one fan, while another joked, "i like how she smiled more in the bloopers than in the entire show.💀”
