Wayfair Wants to Give One Outstanding Teacher a Total Classroom Makeover

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and the best way to celebrate the incredible educator in your life is with something that’ll enhance the way they teach for years to come. Thankfully, Wayfair’s fourth annual Dream Classroom Giveaway is back to help do just that.
The retailer’s business program Wayfair Professional is officially accepting nominations for top-tier teachers to win a complete classroom makeover. One teacher will be chosen to win furniture and other products from leading education manufacturers, like Children’s Factory and Marco Group Inc.
“The winner of this year’s Dream Classroom Giveaway will collaborate one-on-one with a Wayfair Professional design expert to select the pieces that are just right for their teaching, storage, and workspace needs,” Margaret Lawrence, vice president of Wayfair Professional, said in a press release. “With the generous support of leading education manufacturers, Wayfair Professional will supply all-new student desks and chairs, collaborative pieces, storage furniture, a teacher desk and chair, and additional furniture and decor of the teacher’s choosing.”
Teachers can be nominated by anyone including students, families, colleagues, and even themselves. The winner will be selected based on criteria like the teacher’s impact (on a specific student, class, or community), how their unique teaching style develops students, and how an upgraded classroom will improve learning. All nominations are being accepted from now through May 23, 2022, on the contest website. The winner will be notified by June 13, 2022, with the classroom makeover to be updated as soon as possible in the 2022-2023 school year.
