Is Grogu in The Mandalorian Season 4?
LucasFilm/Disney
In a word: Probably. Because if he isn't, we'll riot.
Who is in The Mandalorian Season 4 cast?
The cast of The Mandalorian Season 4 is obviously a bit up in the air depending on the events of The Mandalorian Season 3. That said, we can expect, at the very least, these stars to return:
Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin
LucasFilm/Disney
International treasure and Internet Zaddy Pedro Pascal will once more play a reluctant father figure (albeit a lot less reluctant!) to Grogu.
Brendan Wayne as Din Djarin
Brendan Wayne, one of the actors who plays Din Djarin in his armor, will likely return as needed for Season 4.

Carl Weathers as Greef Karga
LucasFilm/Disney+
Carl Weathers says that Season 3 gets dark and dives deeper than previous installments of The Mandalorian, and we're hoping that means it opens more opportunities for Greef Karga come Season 4 as well.

Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze
LucasFilm/Disney+
Being a fan favorite, we wouldn't be surprised to see Katee Sackhoff return as fellow Mandalorian warrior Bo-Katan Kryze.

Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon
Lucasfilm/Disney+
Giancarlo Esposito is a king, so really, we want this so badly—and honestly, Disney is smart enough to not let this guy go.
Esposito has said himself that a fourth season is likely in play, saying at People's Emmy Awards pre-show in 2020, "We’re living in a universe that is huge and there’s so much to explore. So I think this show is going to lay the groundwork for the depth and breadth that’s gonna come in Season 3 and Season 4, where you’re really gonna start to get answers."

What happens in The Mandalorian Season 4?
While the plot is obviously being kept close to the Disney chest—especially since The Mandalorian Season 3 is still quite fresh—it's already in the works. Showrunner and creator Jon Favreau said in an early 2023 interview, “Season 4, yeah I’ve written it already. We have to know where we’re going to tell a fully formed story. We had mapped it out, Dave [Filoni] and I, and slowly you start to write each episode. I was writing it during post-production. All of it has to feel like a continuation and one full story.”
He added, “[Dave’s] doing Ahsoka, which I’m producing with him. He’s the writer and showrunner on that. To understand what’s happening on other shows. ... Skeleton Crew all take place within the same Star Wars time period. [There are] a lot more things that we’ve got to keep in mind and also stuff that we’ve built up to from previous seasons of The Mandalorian as well.”
