WATCH: Woman Drinking Wine Out of a Pringles Can Banned from Texas Walmart After Electric Cart Joyride
In January 2019, a Texas woman at the center of a bizarre (and dare we say, hilarious?) scene that unfolded outside a Wichita Falls Walmart gave new meaning to the word “joyride" for us all.
Store employees requested that local police officers ban a woman from the Walmart location after they witnessed her drinking wine from a Pringles can while riding on an electric cart for several hours, the Times Record News reports.
That’s right… in place of a glass or a red plastic cup, she drank from her unlikely chalice: a Pringle’s can. Is it too soon to call her a pioneer?
Wichita Falls police spokesman Jeff Hughes told the paper that the woman had been riding on an electric shopping cart more commonly used for people with physical limitations in the store’s parking lot for approximately three hours.
Hughes added that police eventually caught up with the hot-rodding mystery woman in a nearby restaurant and told her not to return to the store. She was not arrested, and her name was not released.
