Watch Vince Gill Make 94-Year-Old's Dreams Come True at Knoxville Concert

You thought you were a dedicated concert goer? Try Sarah Darnell, a 94-year-old Tennessee resident who made the journey from Johnson City to Knoxville to catch Vince Gill live in concert at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium last Wednesday, August 7th.

As Fox 17 Nashville originally reported, it was quite the night for Darnell. Along with the help of her caregiver, Savannah Rushing, the duo brought along a hot pink poster that read "I'm 94. You're on my bucket list!" After seeing the sign, a kind security guard escorted Darnell up to the front so Gill could see the message for himself.

"It's a small world baby, you were on mine too," Gill happily responded to the note on the poster, adding that she's the same age as his own "sweet mama." Darnell was born on June 19th, 1925, so this was quite the way to ring in a belated 94th birthday celebration.

"Seriously last night was a dream come true for Sarah," Rushing told Fox 17. "Thank you, Vince Gill for making a 94 year old's dreams come true." After Rushing stopped recording, Rushing said Darnell shouted to Gill that she loved him, to which the singer replied "I love you too, darlin'."
