Watch This Video of The Trick That Blew Minds at Saint Paul's State Capitol Building
This past weekend, Red Bull collaborated with local midwest ski resort Buck Hill and the mayor of Saint Paul to put on a crazy rail jam at the Saint Paul state capitol building.
One of the tricks done at Zone Three was a back lip through the kink rail done by Joey Fava, and the crowd went willllddddddd. Check out the clip below.
Joey was the only one to land, and potentially even attempt, to do a back lip through the kink.
The way that this Red Bull Heavy Metal rail jam contest was laid out was by three separate zones. The first zone was a jump that used a winch for the pull in, and the second was two down bars, and then the third zone was a long, long kink rail all on the stairs of the state capitol building.
Most of the feedback from the riders about zone three was that it was LONG, but Joey hit a clean back lip through it not only once but twice, and that made him a crowd favorite.
