Victoria’s Secret: The Tour ’23 is Victoria’s Secret’s first fashion show since its last event in 2018. Compared to past Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows, which were filmed in one location, Victoria’s Secret: The Tour was filmed earlier in 2023 at various cities across the world, including Lagos, Nigeria; Bogota, Colombia; London, United Kingdom; and Tokyo, Japan. The main runway show for the special, however, was filmed in Barcelona, Spain.

Along with its change in locations, Victoria’s Secret: The Tour also did away with the brand’s Angel ambassadors, though former models such as Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Taylor Hill, and Candice Swanepoel did model for the 2023 show. Other models include Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid (who also narrates the show), Hailey Bieber, Emily Ratajkowski, Quannah Chasinghorse, Valentina Sampaio, Julia Fox, and Lila Moss.
“They are completely not comparable at all, whatsoever,” Hill told People in September 2023 of the difference between the new and old Victoria’s Secret fashion shows. “The overall experience has been really different. I think they’re both really great, and I’m so happy I get to experience both of them. I’m just really excited to see their new take on the show in this time.”
Lima added, “The whole experience is different for everybody. The fashion show itself is going to be a totally different form — not the usual runway as you think. There will be a runway, there will be a walk, but also fashion designers, poets and musicians will be celebrated.”
